APPLICATION PROCESS

There are TWO parts to the 2018 USA IBC Competitor Application (PLEASE NOTE: To speed up the application process, complete Part I: Online Application Form as soon as possible to access requisite music for Part II: Video Application.)

Part I: Competitor Online Application – AVAILABLE OCTOBER 2, 2017

• Online Application Form
• DEADLINE: January 8, 2018
• $100 fee per applicant – Dancers applying as part of a couple comprised of two competing partners must submit two individual applications – one for the male applicant and one for the female applicant. Please make sure to reference your partner’s name in the PARTNER INFORMATION section of the application.
• Copy of passport (if not a United States citizen). Passport should be valid for at least six months after you return home, and needs to have two or more blank pages.
• One color portrait headshot. Photos must be no smaller than 5”x7” (13 x 18cm)
• Electronically signed release form and applicant agreement
• Non-Competing Partner Application, $100 non-competing partner application fee, passport and headshot (if applicable).

Part II: Video Application – AVAILABLE UPON COMPLETION OF PART I

• DEADLINE: February 5, 2018
• Submit Online Application, Part I
• You will receive a confirmation email when the Competitor Online Application, Part I is submitted.
  • Confirmation email will include:
    • Password to access the Requisite Music for Round I Classical Repertoire. (You must use this music when filming your video application).
    • Video Application Instructions.
    • Video Requirements (review requirements before filming your video to ensure that your initial video submission will be accepted for review).
      • Video Upload Instructions.
      • A “Dropbox File Request” link to upload video application.
• Once video application is ready to submit, upload your video application using the Dropbox link in the email confirmation.
• Lost your Video Upload email? Email Elizabeth VanDeburgh at evan@usaibc.com to request a new Dropbox Link for video upload.

Non-Competing Partner Application – AVAILABLE OCTOBER 2, 2017

• Deadline: January 8, 2018
• Non-competing partners are required to submit the non-competing partner application as part of Competitor Application: Part I, a copy of his or her passport, $100 NCP fee, and color headshot.
• There is no age requirement for non-competing partners.
