Representing the United States of America, Wenkman won bronze in the 2018 USA IBC Women’s Junior Division. She is continuing her training in Scottsdale, Arizona, at Master Ballet Academy under the direction of Irena and Slawomir Wozniak. Tia is a 2018/19 International Scholar for the Royal Ballet School in London.

Since USA IBC XI, Tia studied on scholarship for 5 weeks during the summer at American Ballet Theatre where she was invited to join the Studio Company in 2019/20. Tia received the bronze medal at the 2018 Beijing International Ballet and Choreography Competition. She was honored to perfom principal roles, such as Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, with The Phoenix Ballet’s 2019/20 season. Tia also performs as a guest artist throughout the United States and Internationally.
